Intention

Intention is the conscious intention to perform an action or move in a certain direction.

Definicja

Intention sets direction, but it does not guarantee behavior. There is often a gap between intention and action: fatigue, emotions, stimuli, lack of plan or conflict of values. Therefore, an effective intention needs to be translated into specifics: when, where and how the first step will be taken.
