Internal dialogue
Internal dialogue is the way a person comments, interprets and organizes his own experiences in his thoughts.
Definition
Internal dialogue can support emotion regulation, planning and motivation, but it can also reinforce shame, anxiety or helplessness. It's not about forcing positive thinking, but about checking whether internal messages are true, helpful and proportionate. Changing your internal dialogue involves moving from automatic judgment to more honest and supportive language.

Practice and life
Write down one difficult sentence that you often say to yourself. Then create a more precise version: without insulting yourself, but without distorting the facts.
Common misunderstanding
It is a mistake to turn your internal dialogue into artificial affirmations that you do not believe. It is also a mistake to treat being strict with yourself as the only way to develop.
