Anhedonia
Anhedonia is a markedly reduced or lost ability to feel pleasure and interest in things that were previously pleasant or important.
Definition
Anhedonia is a symptom, not a character trait. It may appear, among others: in depression, mental disorders, chronic stress, burnout or some health problems. It concerns both pleasure "during" the action and waiting for the reward. If it persists for a long time, intensifies or interferes with everyday functioning, it is worth consulting a doctor or mental health specialist.

Practice and life
Every day, choose one short, low-barrier activity and note whether your mood or energy level changes even slightly after doing it. In case of long-lasting symptoms, do not replace consultation with a specialist.
Common misunderstanding
It is a mistake to moralize and judge yourself as "lazy" or "hopeless." It is also dangerous to ignore long-lasting symptoms and treat anhedonia only as a motivational problem.
