Relationship quality
Relationship quality is the degree to which the relationship provides a sense of security, reciprocity, respect, responsiveness and real support.
Definition
A good relationship does not mean the absence of conflicts, but the way in which they are overcome, the ability to repair, communicate and respond to the needs of the other person. Research on close relationships shows the relationship between the quality of relationships and health and well-being. What matters is not only the presence of people, but also the quality of contact.

Practice and life
Choose one important relationship and assess: can I tell the truth, do I feel supported, does the conflict lead to repair?
Common misunderstanding
It is a mistake to measure the quality of a relationship solely by the length of the relationship. It is also a mistake to consider the lack of arguments as evidence of closeness if there is no sincerity at the same time.
