Practice and life

When you notice hyperarousal, start with your body: lengthen your exhale, place your feet on the floor, look around, and name five neutral elements in your environment.

Common misunderstanding

It is a mistake to force yourself to analyze rationally when your body is on alert. It's worth lowering your arousal first and then analyzing.
