Hyperfocus
Hyperfocus is a state of very intense focus on one task or stimulus, often at the expense of flexible switching of attention.
Definicja
Hyperfocus is often discussed in the context of ADHD, although it is not the simple opposite of attention deficit. It means difficulty breaking away from an engaging activity, especially when it provides a strong reward, curiosity, or sense of control. It can support productivity, but it can be a problem when a person neglects sleep, eating, relationships or other responsibilities.

Praktyka i życie
For tasks that easily get you involved, set an end alarm and a half-time follow-up alarm. After the signal, check the body, time and priorities.
Częste błędne rozumienie
It's a mistake to romanticize hyperfocus as a superpower without the cost. The second mistake is to regard every deep concentration as a problem.
