Emotional capacity
Emotional capacity is the ability to feel, recognize, and regulate emotions without losing connection with oneself, others, and the task at hand.
Definicja
Emotional resilience does not mean being unaffected. It means having enough capacity for an emotion to be noticed, named, and carried away without immediately erupting, freezing, or escaping. It is influenced by sleep, support, trauma, stress, boundaries and regulatory skills.

Praktyka i życie
On a scale of 1-10, rate your emotional capacity today before a difficult conversation. If it is low, shorten the conversation or establish safer conditions.
Częste błędne rozumienie
It is a mistake to expect the same emotional capacity every day. It is also wrong to interpret emotional overload as a moral failure.
