Vicious circle
A vicious cycle is a self-perpetuating system in which responses to a problem unconsciously reinforce the problem.
Definicja
A vicious cycle occurs when a behavior provides short-term relief but perpetuates the difficulty in the long term. An example is avoidance: it temporarily reduces anxiety but teaches the mind that the situation is unbearable. Vicious circle analysis helps you find the point of breaking the loop, rather than dealing with each symptom individually.

Częste błędne rozumienie
It is a mistake to look for one person or one cause to blame. In a vicious circle, what is more important is what sustains the problem now.
