Perseverance is the ability to continue action despite difficulties, delayed reward, fatigue or a temporary loss of motivation.

Perseverance is not blindly adhering to any method. Its mature form combines fidelity to the direction with readiness to adjust the strategy. It helps with learning, work, health and relationships, but requires regeneration, meaning and a realistic pace.
