Objective
A goal is a consciously defined result to which you direct your attention, energy and action.
Definition
A goal organizes behavior because it gives direction to decisions and allows us to distinguish important action from random activity. In psychology, goals are related to motivation, self-regulation, and evaluation of progress. A well-defined goal does not replace action, but creates a framework within which action can be planned, measured and corrected.

Practice and life
Write down your goal in one sentence and below it the three closest behaviors that will actually bring you closer to achieving it.
Common misunderstanding
It is a mistake to confuse a goal with a wish. The second mistake is to set a goal without a test criterion, then you will know that it has been achieved.
