Meditation

Meditation is a group of practices that focus attention and integrate the mind and body to increase presence, regulation and well-being.

Definition

Meditation includes various techniques, e.g. concentration on breathing, sound, image or careful observation of the moment. It is not a magical solution to problems, but a form of attention and regulation training. For some people, difficult experiences may become more intense, so it is worth adapting the practice to your mental state.

Practice and life

Start with 3 minutes a day: sit, observe your breathing and each time your attention wanders, calmly return to one point.

Common misunderstanding

It is a mistake to expect nothingness in your mind. The second mistake is to force long practices when the nervous system reacts with anxiety.
