Behaviourism
Behaviorism is a trend in psychology that focuses on observable behavior and its dependence on stimuli, consequences and learning.
Definition
Behaviorism assumes that behavior can be studied scientifically by observing the body's response to the environment. Classical approaches placed greater emphasis on stimuli, responses, conditioning, and consequences than on internal experiences. Modern approaches do not necessarily deny cognitive processes, but a behavioral perspective still helps understand habits, learning, avoidance, and behavior change.

Practice and life
When you want to change a habit, don't start by assessing your character. Write down the stimulus, response, and consequence, then change one element of the loop.
Common misunderstanding
It is a mistake to reduce behaviorism to the thesis that man "has no interior." The second mistake is to ignore the context and judge behavior only morally.
