Basic needs
Basic needs are the fundamental conditions for well-being and functioning, without which it is more difficult for a person to maintain health, motivation and development.
Definition
Base needs can be understood at several levels: biological, emotional, social and psychological. In the self-determination theory, autonomy, competence and relationality are particularly important because they support internal motivation and well-being. In development practice, it is also worth checking sleep, eating, safety, contact, rest and sense of influence.

Practice and life
When motivation drops, before you evaluate yourself, do a quick audit: sleep, eating, movement, contact, rest, influence. Sometimes the problem is not a lack of meaning, but a broken foundation.
Common misunderstanding
It is a mistake to treat needs as weaknesses. It is also a mistake to confuse need with every momentary whim.
