Logotherapy
Logotherapy is Viktor Frankl's psychotherapeutic approach in which the search for meaning plays a central role.
Definition
Logotherapy assumes that people need meaning and can find meaning even in difficult conditions. It is not a simple motivation or an order to think positively. In practice, it directs attention to responsibility, values, the choice of attitude and the question of what a given situation requires from a person.

Practice and life
In a difficult situation, write down: what I cannot change, what I am still responsible for and what sensible step I can take.
Common misunderstanding
It is a mistake to use logotherapy to downplay suffering. It is also a mistake to confuse meaning with an immediate sense of relief.
