Information processing
Information processing is the reception, selection, interpretation, storage and use of data by a mind or system.
Definicja
In cognitive psychology, humans can be partially described as an information-processing system: attention selects stimuli, memory encodes them, interpretation gives meaning, and decision guides action. This model is useful, but it does not exhaust the whole person, because emotions, the body and social context also influence processing.

Praktyka i życie
With information overload, separate data into: facts, interpretations, decisions and things to check. Don't mix all layers in one note.
Częste błędne rozumienie
It is a mistake to treat a human being as a pure computer. The second mistake is to ignore the influence of emotions on the selection and interpretation of information.
