Personal development
Personal development is the conscious development of the way of thinking, acting, relationships and self-regulation in accordance with values and the reality of life.
Definition
Personal development does not have to mean constantly improving yourself. In its mature form, it includes greater self-awareness, responsibility, learning from experience, regulation of emotions and choosing a direction consistent with values. It is not a substitute for therapy, diagnosis or treatment when difficulties are clinical in nature.
