Vagus nerve
The vagus nerve is the tenth cranial nerve and an important route of communication between the brain and internal organs.
Definition
It is part of the autonomic nervous system and plays an important role in parasympathetic functions, such as regulating the heart rate, breathing, digestion and transmitting information from the body to the brain. In personal development it is sometimes oversimplified as the "calm nerve", but its function is more complex.

Practice and life
Use safe adjustment techniques such as calm exhalation, gentle movement and relaxation, but do not use them as a substitute for medical treatment.
Common misunderstanding
It is a mistake to attribute the explanation of every emotional problem to the vagus nerve. If you experience fainting, heart disease or medical symptoms, you need a consultation.
