Personal axiology

Personal axiology is an ordered set of values that help assess choices, priorities and direction of action.

Definicja

Axiology in philosophy concerns the theory of value: what we consider good, important, worthy of protection or worth choosing. Personal axiology transfers this topic to the practice of life: it describes what values are a real compass for decisions for a person. Values are not the same as goals. The goal can be checked off, but the value remains the direction according to which further decisions can be made.

Praktyka i życie

Choose five key values and for each, write down one behavior that you can implement every day for the next week.

Częste błędne rozumienie

It is a mistake to confuse values with external goals, e.g. status, image or mere effectiveness. What is often overlooked is the conflict of values, i.e. the situation in which you have to consciously choose which value has priority.
