The logic of the problem

Problem logic is a system of relationships that shows why a problem arises, persists, and returns.

Definition

The concept does not mean that the problem is "logical" in the ordinary sense, but that it has a mechanism. It may be maintained by incentives, rewards, avoidance, false assumptions, lack of resources, or conflicts of interest. Recognizing this logic allows you to design solutions deeper than at the level of symptoms.

Practice and life

Describe the problem in sequence form: when it starts, what aggravates it, what temporarily alleviates it, and what makes it come back.

Common misunderstanding

It is a mistake to look for one guilty person instead of a mechanism. It is also a mistake to address a symptom without checking what is causing it.
