Intrinsic motivation
Intrinsic motivation is taking action because of its meaning, curiosity, satisfaction or compliance with values.
Definition
Internal motivation is strongly related to the sense of autonomy, competence and relationality. It does not mean that action is always easy or pleasant. Rather, it means that a person recognizes value in himself that does not depend solely on external reward.
