Hierarchy of values
The hierarchy of values is the arrangement of what is most important so that decisions are not driven solely by the pressure of the moment.
Definition
The hierarchy of values helps resolve conflicts between the needs, goals and expectations of the environment. It does not mean a rigid list for life, but a conscious order that makes it easier to make choices in stressful situations. Thanks to it, a person can distinguish between a momentary whim and a deeper goal.
