Setting goals

Goal setting is the process of defining the desired outcome, success criteria, deadline, and actions to achieve change.

Definition

A well-defined goal organizes attention, facilitates the selection of actions and allows you to monitor progress. The goal should be sufficiently specific, significant and based on real resources. Goals alone are not enough - you also need an implementation plan, feedback and course correction.

Practice and life

Write down your goal in three lines: result, why it's important, first step within 24 hours. Without the first step, the goal becomes a wish.

Common misunderstanding

It is a mistake to create a goal without a check criterion. It is also a mistake to set goals only because of pressure, without any connection with values.
