Planning
Planning is translating a goal into an ordered sequence of steps, resources, deadlines, and review criteria.
Definition
Planning helps reduce chaos, anticipate obstacles, and allocate resources. Good planning does not mean controlling everything, but creating a sufficiently clear structure of action. It requires defining the goal, priorities, risks, next steps and review moments.

Practice and life
For one purpose, write down: the end result, the first step, the next review date and the signal by which you will know that the plan requires correction.
Common misunderstanding
It is a mistake to confuse planning with action. A common mistake is creating a plan without a buffer, without success criteria and without a moment for review.
