Lateralization
Lateralization is the partial specialization of the brain hemispheres in specific functions, e.g. language, motor or spatial.
Definicja
Lateralization does not mean a simple division into the "logical left" and the "creative right" hemisphere. Many functions involve both hemispheres, but some processes may be more strongly represented on one side. Most often, it concerns language, hand dominance and certain aspects of spatial processing.

Praktyka i życie
When you encounter a simplification such as "I'm right-brained", check whether the description is talking about real brain function or a personality label.
Częste błędne rozumienie
It is a mistake to reduce man to the dominance of one hemisphere. It is also a mistake to treat lateralization as an explanation for any thinking style.
