Implementation

Implementation is the translation of a plan, decision or solution into specific actions in reality.

Definition

This is the stage where the idea encounters limitations: time, resources, emotions, resistance, priorities and the chaos of everyday life. Good implementation requires clear steps, accountability, control points and feedback. Without implementation, even an accurate diagnosis remains a theory.

Practice and life

Break the solution into the first three activities: what, when, where and how I will know when it has been done. Set the first step for the next 24 hours.

Common misunderstanding

It is a mistake to assume that because a plan is logical, it will execute itself. A common error is the missing task owner and review date.
