Dendrites
Dendrites are branching processes of neurons that receive signals from other nerve cells.
Definition
Dendrites are the part of the neuron responsible mainly for receiving synaptic information and transmitting it towards the cell body. Their shape, branches and dendritic spines are important for communication between neurons and the plasticity of the nervous system. However, learning should not be reduced solely to dendrites, because memory and behavior depend on a network of many structures, neurotransmitters and processes.

Common misunderstanding
It is a mistake to simplify that "more dendrites" automatically equals wisdom or growth. It is also a mistake to use neurolanguage as decoration without explaining the mechanism.
