Light in the ordinary
Some days do not shine, yet they still carry light.
An ordinary day can seem unimportant: nothing big happens, no one announces a breakthrough, everything goes on quietly.
And then suddenly it turns out that it was in this ordinariness that the most life was that day.
People often look for meaning in what is intense, in strong emotions, big changes, visible effects, confusing the final effect with what led to it.
Ordinary life then seems to be only a background, a field to be passed through, and yet it is this background that most often sustains life.
Without him, great moments would have no place to happen.
Morning tea, an open window, the familiar sound of the street, the rustling of leaves or a simple "good morning" - things that are ordinary, not noisy, not "asking" for attention.
They have a quiet durability that needs to prove nothing, and they are often the ones that remind us that life does not consist only of goals, plans and dreams, but also of moments that simply exist.
Ordinary light does not blind, but is more like a small lamp left in the window.
It does not change the entire landscape, but rather draws paths and paths in it, allowing one to return from being lost in the world, and when a person begins to notice them, an ordinary day ceases to be empty and becomes a place where the presence can rest, go to previously forgotten areas and explore life more consciously.
What are you failing to notice because it is hidden behind the ordinary?
