Inconsistency of action is the discrepancy between declared goals, values or plans and actual behavior.
Definition
It may result from overload, lack of resources, value conflict, anxiety, inappropriate strategy, or the invisible reward of old behavior. It should not be immediately interpreted as weak will. It is a diagnostic signal.
