Making it real
Making it real means reducing thoughts, fears and plans to facts, limitations, resources and specific actions.
Definition
Making it real helps distinguish interpretation from data and fantasy from a feasible plan. May be needed for catastrophizing, idealization, anxiety, grand goals, or cognitive chaos. It does not mean killing dreams, but bringing them into contact with reality.
