Mindfulness
Mindfulness is maintaining attention on current experience with an attitude of greater openness and less automatic judgment.
Definition
Mindfulness can apply to the breath, body, emotions, thoughts, sounds, movement and relationships. It's not about clearing your mind, but about noticing what comes up without immediately reacting. It may support stress regulation and well-being, but is not a universal replacement for therapy or treatment.
